a friend to the family drink about 2 liters of coffee each day, each cup is 30 cl, he puts in 3 tablespoons of honey, 4 teaspoons of sugar, 2 dl high fat whipped cream in each cup he has, drinks one 2 liter bottle coca cola/day, he smokes about 30 cigarettes/day, drinks one six pack of beer alongside dinner every day (each can is 5.5% alcohol and contain 50 cl) almost everything he eats is deep fried, he eats for about 3 peoples portions worth two times a day, he weigh's about 200 kilo, has stupidly high diabetes (we are talking about above 35-40 mmol) so of course he eats in average 2 doughnuts, 3 chocolate muffins, 1 packet of ballerina cookies and 1 cinnamon bun every day.

he's lived like this for as long as i can remember (~20 years) i'm told by others in the family he's lived like this close to 60 years, he is now 87 years old... how the fuck is this guy still alive?
but it's all fine thou, right? i mean he puts honey in his coffee and eat cinnamon bun's, and cinnamon is good for you! and he is considering to use low fat whipped cream instead as well!

he's had 7 heart attack and 3 blood clots in the last 2 years alone, 1 foot amputated 12 years ago, surgery for kidney failure 6 years ago, surgery for liver failure 2 years ago, 2 surgeries for colon cancer the last 5 years, surgery for pancreas cancer 10 years ago, vocal cords removed due to, you guessed it, cancer, some 20 years ago, prostate cancer twice within 3 years, replaced all his teeth due to tooth decay, has a resting heart rate of 128 bpm, stage 3 COPD for about 5 years and chronic bronchitis for 4 years, gout for at least 30 years, he has 3 confirmed cases of subluxation that has remained untreated for 20+ years, he has 4 compressed spinal cords that is who knows how old that is also untreated, in his carer he accumulated around some 30+ bad electric burns on his hands, arms and legs, he has had rabies, bird flu, salmonella, malaria and jaundice, he has peptic ulcer disease, oh, and he also has a bad case of astma, thats all of the thing i can remember that guy has/had.

i just can not help but wonder how the effing hell is he still alive? this comment started out with the mention of coffee that reminded me of that guys coffee drinking habit then other things kind of just popped up as well... thought may as well share what the unhealthiest person i know has gone thru and is going thru.

Bit of a late reaction. By putting Dr. Mike in between you to, you make it hard for him to have a conversation with the both of you.

Cool video, guys! But Dr. Mike said something that reminded me of my childhood. On the topic of viruses... I grew up listening to my late dad joking "A cold without medicine lasts for 7 days and, on medicines, only a week"...

Yes it's true re green tea and manuka honey which can be expensive but effective. The money spent on cold remedies isn't always necessary. Anyway..try white tea which has less manufacturing process, then green then black blended. Great chats as always😊greetings Manchester, England

There are 3 organizations that test for label accuracy: USP, Consumer Labs, and NSF. That is all, so if you don't see one of those labels on the bottle it could be rice powder, amphetamines, you have no idea. Be safe people!

As a nutrition professional (Diet Technician, Registered) I always tell patients this: every single supplement (detox tea/vitamin/protein powder/herbal/etc) legally has to state on the bottle that it has NOT been approved by the FDA. The FDA can only pull a product after it has been proven harmful, like if people goes to the ER or dies. Tell your doctor about any of these substances you take please! Some of them are dangerous or can interact with other medications!
