    More Information:
America has been pioneers of candy and confectionery for quite some time! So much so, that we thought it would be fun to dish out candy, some as far back as the early 1900s, to see what our lovely Irish people thought!

            • Thanks for another bad haircut, Mom! NoFirstName

Ahhhh you guys don’t know how to have fun. Licorice rocks and anise seed tastes like licorice. Hey when I was a kid they gave up rock candy that would cut your mouth up. You were grateful for good n plenty.

They are Candy's designed for kids. I loved many as kids. Now as an adult I don't like them. And dum dums are still good. Boston baked beans are a very old candy. A candy that anyone in the great depression couldn't afford. Remember that.

They must have week teeth but iron stomach. They hate chewy candy. They love alcohol.

I'm a born & bred NYer & I've gotta say that John Sharpson does the best NY accents I've heard. He cracks me up & is spot on. He does more of the NYC (Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, etc.) accent than the upstate NYers (like myself)... That's good stuff! My mother's side of the family are from the Bronx, so I have a half & half NY accent.... lmao!
I love it, John! I always look forward to hearing you do impressions. 🤘🤣

In the nineties, these kind of candies must have been super cheap, because that was al they had in rural Alaska. They probably made money just charging for what it cost to ship them out.
Edit: These were the candies of my childhood.
